US-based health management companies HealthEC and VirtualHealth have partnered to advance population health management and improve patient outcomes.

The collaboration brings together VirtualHealth’s HELIOS platform with HealthEC’s population health analytics, offering healthcare organisations a suite of tools for managing chronic conditions and optimising care coordination.

By integrating HELIOS’ care management capabilities with HealthEC’s advanced analytics, the partners aim to enable healthcare providers to identify high-risk patients, streamline care coordination efforts and manage chronic diseases.

HELIOS supports a range of functions, including care and disease management, population health, utilisation management, and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) data interoperability.

The platform uses artificial intelligence (AI), automation and a variety of clinical workflows and integrations to enhance the effectiveness and speed of care delivery.
