Mobile health technology company UTMHealthcare has joined forces with FirstHx, an AI-powered patient intake solutions provider, to integrate their technologies for enhanced medical outcomes.

This collaboration is set to provide clinicians with a comprehensive view of patient health information, improving care quality and patients’ experience, while minimising the health system’s administrative workload.

The two companies also signed a memorandum of understanding related to their latest alliance, which will allow them to collaboratively develop new products.

Under the new partnership, UTMHealthcare will provide its remote patient monitoring platform, which will be combined with FirstHx’s AI-powered medical history tool.

By leveraging UTMHealthcare’s platform, patients with chronic diseases can monitor their conditions and share this diagnostic data with their healthcare providers in real-time.

This enables medical practitioners to provide timely treatment adjustments, if needed, and helps in preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.

FirstHx’s AI-driven history-taking smartphone application complements UTMHealthcare’s platform by allowing patients to compile detailed medical histories that seamlessly integrate with EMR systems.

The company said that its AI-guided application aims to fill these gaps, ensuring that clinicians have access to accurate and complete patient information.

With the integration of elements of the two technologies, the companies intend to provide a complete and more accurate view of patient health.

Meanwhile, clinicians will be able to view a precise patient-supplied history alongside current health metrics, facilitating better-informed medical decisions and ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.

FirstHx CEO Chris O’Connor said: “We are excited to collaborate with UTMHealthcare to dramatically improve provider productivity, health outcomes, and the patient experience.

“Our precise medical histories, combined with UTM’s real-time patient monitoring data, will enable providers with a more complete view to improve care planning and patient outcomes.”

UTMHealthcare and its parent company YouThisMe partner and co-founder Seth Lachterman said: “We believe that in working together we can create a medical product that is stronger than the sum of its parts and that can create transformational change in the way care is delivered to patients.”
