US-based healthcare services company Tenet Healthcare has completed its previously announced sale of several hospitals in a deal valued at more than $550m.
The sale involved 374-bed MacNeal Hospital and related operations located in a suburb of Chicago, to Loyola Medicine, an affiliate of Trinity Health.
MacNeal has more than 550 medical staff in 50 specialties, advanced inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and psychiatric services and advanced diagnostics and treatments.
Tenet also sold its minority interest in Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – White Rock in Dallas to Pipeline Health.
Furthermore, Tenet completed sale of its minority interest in Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial, as wellas Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe, to Baylor Scott & White Health.
The company’s minority interest in Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale was also transferred to Texas Health Ventures Group.
