St John of God Bunbury Hospital has announced plans to build a stand-alone day hospital in Vasse, Western Australia.
The hospital, part of St John of God Health Care, will take up the project in partnership with Blackoak Capital Ventures and Invested Health Developments.
The new hospital will offer surgical services, day oncology, dialysis and ambulatory services. It will also feature consulting rooms for specialist doctors.
Works on the new building are expected to start next year owing to pending regulatory and other approvals.
The site for the hospital building was finalised by Blackoak Capital Ventures and Invested Health Developments.
The 1.3ha property located in Vasse Town Centre offers a long-term solution for St John of God Health Care’s operations in the region.

By GlobalDataFurther, the Vasse Town Centre is well connected as it is situated on the junction of the Busselton Bypass and Bussell Highway.
The centre also features amenities provided by cafes, shops and local businesses.
St John of God Bunbury Hospital CEO Jeffrey Williams said that the new hospital will take healthcare closer to the Busselton and Margaret River region communities.
