Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 34.48% in July 2022, a 17.65% rise over the previous month. Computer and Information Analysts came in next, claiming a share of 25.86% in July 2022, marking a 7.14% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 17.24% in July 2022, a flat growth from June 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 966.67% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s healthcare industry during July 2022 over previous month.
Pharmacy2U posted 8 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 300% over the previous month, followed by Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with 7 jobs and a flat growth. Oak Street Health with 6 IT jobs and The General Medical Council with 6 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Korian recorded a 400% increase with 5 job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s healthcare industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 60.34% share in July 2022, a 105.88% increase over June 2022. Spain featured next with a 10.34% share, flat growth over the previous month. France recorded a 10.34% share, a growth of 50% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.97%, up by 17.65% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with an 18.97% share, registered a growth of 83.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.07% share, up 133.33% over June 2022.
