The Nairobi Hospital intends to open five new medical centres across Kenya to boost healthcare infrastructure in the country, Business Daily Africa reported.

Kenya Hospital Association (KHA), which owns the hospital, has received a grant from the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) for a feasibility study.

The USTDA said: “The study will support KHA’s intent to establish five medical centres across Kenya, digitise its operations, and expand cancer treatment services at The Nairobi Hospital.”

The grant amount and location of the new branches were not disclosed.

According to the USTDA, the feasibility study will give KHA a market analysis, design guidelines for the new centres, advice on where to buy and how to install new oncology equipment.
