The Ottawa Hospital of Canada has ordered for RayStation, a treatment planning system of RaySearch for radiation therapy.
With the placement of this order, the hospital has become the 500th customer of RaySearch.
The first sale of the system was made by RaySearch in 2009.
RayStation serves as the premier treatment planning system, covering a wide range of treatment delivery machines to provide a comprehensive functionality.
With regular launches, RayStation’s capabilities have continuously evolved.
The latest version, RayStation 8A offers complete planning capabilities for Accuray TomoTherapy systems, improvements for proton and carbon ion therapy and additional integration with RayCare, which is the next-generation oncology information system.

The Ottawa Hospital is a learning and research hospital with over 1,100 beds and around 12,000 employees.
