Monmouth Medical Center, part of RWJBarnabas Health, has announced the groundbreaking of Vogel Medical Campus at Tinton Falls in New Jersey, US.

Once developed, the medical campus will provide surgical and imaging services as well as comprehensive cancer care, with support from the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The campus, which will be situated at Fort Monmouth Myer Center site, will feature a five-storey, 150,000ft² outpatient centre.

Expected to be opened by 2025, the campus will provide its patients with comprehensive same-day surgery, on-site speciality physician offices along with improved diagnostic imaging.

Several floors will be devoted exclusively to enhanced cancer services. It will feature an oncology clinic as well as centres for improved infusion and radiation therapy treatment.

The park-like setting will also be included in line with extensive environmental considerations, including water features and walking paths.
