Riddle Hospital in Pennsylvania, US, which is part of Main Line Health, has opened its new Pavilion to patients.
Spanning 230,000ft², the five-level facility is the result of a three-year, $327m campus redevelopment.
The Pavilion features advanced surgical suites, modern maternity facilities, and other expanded healthcare services.
It comprises 76 private patient rooms designed for optimum natural light penetration, as well as ten surgical suites equipped with robotic systems for minimally invasive surgery.
In addition, it features new maternity suites and a neonatal intensive care unit, which will allow for an increase in annual births to 1,800.
The facility also offers an atrium with shopping and dining options and a parking garage featuring charging stations for electric vehicles.

The Pavilion is considered the cornerstone of the hospital campus modernisation project and marks one of Main Line Health’s largest-ever capital investments.
This campus redevelopment is ongoing, with revamp of the hospital’s intensive care unit and other areas expected to be over by the third quarter of next year.
