Health Plus Management (HPM) has supported the expansion of its supported practice South Island Orthopedics (SIO) in Far Rockaway, New York, US, in partnership with St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, expanding its orthopaedic services.
This is the fourth site for SIO and is located next to the hospital.

Headed by experienced surgeon Dr Paul J Kubiak, the programme will provide services for orthopaedic surgery patients.
Dr Kubiak will also become the chief of orthopaedic surgery at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. He will work alongside Dr Jean Simon, who will be the director of therapy and rehabilitation services.
The duo will work with a team of physical therapists, social workers, and case managers to offer care to patients before and after their orthopaedic procedures.

St. John’s Hospital is said to be the only full-service hospital in the Rockaway area, with more than 400 physicians and more than 1,500 staff.
HPM helps SIO with administrative tasks so that it can focus on patient care.
