US-based Northside Hospital and healthcare real estate solutions provider Realty Trust Group (RTG) have opened a new medical centre in Snellville, Georgia, US.

This new two-storey facility spans about 7,500ft² on a 4.6-acre plot of land in The Grove at Towne Center.

The medical centre will offer expanded healthcare services including outpatient services, imaging, surgery, as well as orthopaedics.

RTG worked closely with Northside Hospital through the entire development process of the centre.

This includes land acquisition, construction, zoning, as well as design phases.

RTG senior vice-president Charlie Dickhaus said: “Working alongside Northside Hospital on this project has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

“We are proud to have contributed to the successful realisation of this medical centre, which will undoubtedly enhance healthcare accessibility and quality in Snellville and the surrounding areas.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by healthcare professionals, officials, and community members.

Close to this medical centre, there is a new urgent care building to serve people with minor healthcare needs.

In July this year, Hamilton Medical Center tapped RTG to provide programme management services for a new cardiovascular pavilion in Dalton, Georgia.

The expansion will cover an area of 175,000ft², providing cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardiology, structural cardiology, and electrophysiology services.

As part of the agreement, RTG will oversee the team procurement, design management, project scheduling, budgeting, and construction administration.

RTG provides services including advisory, development, transactions, operations, and regulatory compliance.

This August, RTG collaborated with Tennessee-based hospital system Erlanger Health.

Under this collaboration, RTG will manage Erlanger’s 1.6 million square feet property by offering strategic planning support, dealing with leases, handling finances, and maintenance.
