Tilak Healthcare has secured €10m ($10.52m) in a financing round led by Elaia and Cap Horn to strengthen its ophthalmological telemedicine solution.
Existing investors iBionext and SWEN Capital Partners joined the round, along with Théa, Adelie, and various other ophthalmologists and businesses.
The new capital takes the funds raised by Tilak Healthcare since its inception in 2016 to €22m.
Tilak plans to use the proceeds to expedite the launch of its CE-marked medical device OdySight in France and across the globe.
A remote monitoring system for ophthalmic conditions, OdySight has a gaming interface to aid in remotely analysing age-associated vision problems.
The company also plans to advance the development of novel offerings for other ailments with the funding.
