Cleveland Clinic and Mexican healthcare company Previta have announced a partnership to provide an international second opinion option for addressing the medical needs of patients.
Cleveland Clinic, which integrates hospital and clinical care with research and education, offers patients access to worldwide physicians and specialist networks to provide quality care.
Under the latest programme, Previta doctors will be able to collaborate with experts at Cleveland Clinic to review complex cases, thereby creating a personalised treatment plan for patients.
It is part of Cleveland Clinic’s continued efforts to ensure expanded access to quality care for patients globally.
Cleveland Clinic International Operations chairman Curtis Rimmerman said: “The collaboration with Previta will enable Cleveland Clinic specialists to provide peer-to-peer consults to our clinical partners and their patients in Mexico.
“Peer-to-peer consults can be a valuable resource in complex healthcare situations. This partnership will unlock access to more than 3,500 Cleveland Clinic physicians across advanced subspecialities, without the need to travel abroad.”
