Healthcare IT provider CareView Communications has expanded its collaboration with an undisclosed regional health system in North Texas.
The expanded agreement involves the deployment of CareView’s mobile cameras to enhance monitoring for patients within the health system.
CareView’s predictive patient monitoring solution uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, to anticipate inpatient falls and provide real-time insights to healthcare providers.
This approach enables medical staff to address patients at risk, avert accidents, and lower associated costs.
Besides, CareView’s platform maintains a calm care ambience in hospitals by eliminating audible alarms in patient areas. The platform is also said to prioritise patient privacy.
CareView chief clinical officer Cathy Story said: “We are excited about expanding the utilisation of our products in systems where we already have a presence.
