US-based health technology company Allurion Technologies has entered commercial agreements with two aesthetic and weight loss clinic chains, Lazeo in France and UK-based company Transform.
Through these agreements, Allurion aims to expand its Virtual Care Suite (VCS) digital platform, a comprehensive toolkit designed to enhance functionality for weight loss practices.
The partnerships come after Allurion expanded its collaboration with Weight Doctors, a Germany-based private clinic group for weight loss.
Allurion said its accelerated growth of VCS through strategic partnerships highlights increasing opportunities for the digital platform since the launch of Coach Iris, Allurion’s 24/7 AI-powered weight loss coach, in October last year.
The company has also said that the integration of Coach Iris into VCS has provided round-the-clock coaching and guidance for patients undergoing various weight loss treatments, including anti-obesity medications, devices and bariatric surgery.
In France, Lazeo has implemented the VCS within their Allurion Program and Nutricare by Lazeo, a dietitian-supervised nutrition programme that takes place over three, six or 12 months.
