US-based electronic health records (EHR) company DoctorNow has signed a national agreement with health services company Venture Medical to support wound care providers.
Through this collaboration, DoctorNow aims to streamline EHR processes and enhance the efficiency of the supply chain for advanced wound care products.
DoctorNow will integrate Venture Medical’s wound-care solutions and regenerative therapies with its post-acute wound EHR solution.
This integration is expected to improve visibility, simplicity and tracking for providers, leading to cost savings, process improvements and better patient outcomes.
DoctorNow CEO and founder Dr Kashif Saeed said: “We are very excited to partner with Venture Medical to bridge the gap between providers working with patients, electronic health records, products, and services to improve patient outcomes.
“This is the first step in a strategic partnership to push the boundaries of what is possible for wound care.”

By GlobalDataDoctorNow’s post-acute care EHR system is designed to eliminate manual entry through facility integration and reduce charting time with advanced templates and customised shortcuts.
The platform complies with the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and features automated order generation, biller integration, coding and a flexible, configurable platform that simplifies the entire charting process.
Focusing specifically on wound care, the DocNow EHR comprises a mobile application that allows users to capture wound-specific documentation, as well as measurement, assessment, photo features, automated order generation, coding and billing integration.
It also offers the ability to customise templates to meet wound care providers’ specific needs.
Venture Medical president John Schroeder said: “With the many potential points of failure in complying with insurance and complex payor documentation requirements, even the most diligent of providers struggle with ensuring that the information is adequate to obtain appropriate reimbursement.
“The combination of the Venture1View portal and DocNow’s platform are together designed to reduce errors and effort significantly, allowing providers to focus on what matters most: patient care.”
