US-based healthcare services provider Valley Health System is set to open a new hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.
The Valley Hospital, which is scheduled to start operations on 14 April, was introduced to the community through a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the presence of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, as well as other dignitaries and Valley Health System officials.
Valley Health System began the construction of this new hospital in November 2019.
The 370-bed hospital is designed to meet the needs of patients, their families, and healthcare staff, featuring single-patient rooms, an expanded emergency department strategically located for quick access to diagnostic and surgical services, and larger operating rooms.
It is part of a 40-acre health and wellness campus that integrates acute care with outpatient services, including a medical art building at 140 East Ridgewood Avenue, and The Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion.
This Pavilion is home to The George R. Jaqua Same Day Services Center, Valley-Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care, and a full-service pharmacy, among other facilities.
