By GlobalDataThe AI Assistant also provides bidirectional integration with Epic, a widely used EHR system, further enabling Suki to fit effortlessly into RUSH’s existing workflows.
Clinicians can pre-chart in Epic and complete their notes in Suki, ensuring that patient records are accurate and detailed, or even obtain the patients’ latest lab results and other vitals directly from EHR.
This integration has been shown to cut the time spent on documentation by 72%.
Furthermore, Suki AI Assistant is set to support RUSH clinicians across more than 30 specialities, enhancing their ability to deliver personalised care, from disease management to prevention.
RUSH chief medical informatics officer Bina Desai said: “After using other AI documentation solutions, Suki stood out to us for its depth of integration with Epic, ability to do more than documentation, and competitive cost. We understand the profound impact that AI solutions can have on our clinicians as well as patient care and are excited to introduce Suki to our network.
“Our commitment to providing the best care stands at the core of everything we do, so we are excited to see how the solution will boost engagement and reduce burnout.”
