Paras Healthcare, an Indian hospital chain specialising in providing tertiary medical care, has laid the foundation stone for its new 300-bed hospital in Gurugram.
The foundation stone for the facility was laid during a ceremony attended by various officials and Paras Health representatives.
According to ETHealthworld.com, this new hospital will be the second under the Paras Healthcare banner in Gurugram, signifying the chain’s commitment to expanding its healthcare services in the region.
The upcoming hospital is set to bolster the existing medical infrastructure in Gurugram, with a continued emphasis on core specialisations such as gastroenterology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurosciences, cardiac sciences, as well as transplant related programmes.
Furthermore, the new facility is proposed to be outfitted with latest medical technology, for instance navigation systems and robotic, to ensure availability of different treatment options to address the healthcare needs of both domestic and international patients.
ETHealthworld.com quoted Paras Health managing director Dharminder Kumar Nagar as saying: “Now, we are looking to deepen our service profile with the addition of organ transplant programmes like lung and liver transplants, alongside our existing kidney and bone marrow transplant programmes.
