US-based health network Hackensack Meridian Health has partnered with Medically Home to introduce the ‘Hospital from Home’ programme, providing patients with the same level of care they would receive in a hospital in an at-home setting.
This offering was piloted in 2022 at the JFK University Medical Center and has since been extended to include Hackensack University Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The programme represents a rapidly expanding care model that combines virtual and in-person healthcare services.
Patients are monitored round the clock through a virtual command centre led by physicians, complemented by visits from nurses.
The offering provides a comprehensive range of services such as infusions, IV antibiotics, managing medications, laboratory services, various therapies, and imaging services, delivered at the patient’s residence.
Since its inception in late April this year, the programme treated nearly 100 patients.
