UAE-based speciality healthcare company Burjeel Holdings has launched the Burjeel Institute for Global Health in the US.
The launch of the institute is part of Burjeel’s efforts to strengthen and promote global partnerships in education, healthcare and research.
To mark its inauguration, the company held a series of discussions on cancer care and technological innovations with global experts.
Among those taking part in these discussions was UAE State for Foreign Trade Minister Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, who highlighted the UAE’s commitment to using research and education to improve health outcomes worldwide.
The institute’s establishment is part of Burjeel’s strategy to attract talent and academic excellence by hiring medical professionals, researchers and scientists while strengthening its clinical and research capabilities.
Al Zeyoudi expressed his aspirations for the institute to become a centre for cancer research and treatment, care and drug development.
