Australian mental health services company Avive Health has opened a private mental health hospital in Brisbane, Australia, with an investment of A$70m ($47.1m).
The Avive Clinic Brisbane is a 63-bed facility designed to offer specialised care for a spectrum of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders and trauma.
It is located next to one of Brisbane’s major health hubs, which is home to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Herston Quarter health precinct.
The hospital has seven group therapy rooms, ten doctors’ consulting rooms in onsite specialist suites, and a fitness studio.
It is also equipped with advanced technologies to enhance patient care, including circadian rhythm lighting and electronic patient tablets.
Services provided at the hospital include specialised care for people with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and substance use disorders.

In addition, patients will have access to individual exercise physiology programmes in the hospital’s gym areas.
