The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the UK has entered a new partnership with Newton’s Tree, a health technology company and member of the NVIDIA Inception Program, for an AI platform.
As part of this collaboration, the NHS Trust will implement Newton’s Tree’s vendor-neutral AI solution throughout all Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
The deployment of this enterprise AI platform will enable the NHS Trust to acquire, assess, integrate, as well as oversee a range of third-party AI algorithms and products within standard routine care pathways.
Leeds Teaching Hospital chief scientific officer David Brettle said: “Healthcare faces huge challenges in the post-Covid world, and Leeds Teaching Hospitals is committed to adopting transformative technologies to improve patient care.
“This collaboration has the potential to significantly enhance our diagnostic and treatment capabilities, ensuring high-quality care for our patients in a safe way.”
Newton’s Tree’s enterprise AI vendor-neutral platform is designed on open standards, which helps in facilitating the deployment as well as monitoring of AI software across several medical specialities, which also includes pre-market products.
