US-based software company InterSystems has partnered with Saudi Arabia-based NEOM to support the utilisation of a ‘fully unified, future-ready AI-driven healthcare ecosystem’ at NEOM.
The partnership will involve implementing InterSystems’ TrakCare and IRIS for Health systems, as well as installing TrakCare across NEOM’s network of 41 clinics and one hospital.
TrakCare is a comprehensive health information system that consolidates clinical, administrative and financial data with the aim of providing a unified patient profile and enhanced clinical decision support.
By the end of this year, NEOM plans to integrate InterSystems IRIS for Health, a digital health development platform designed to centralise clinical application data.
The integration will support the development of health programmes making use of Cloud-first technology and compatibility with various healthcare data standards, including HL7 FHIR.
NEOM’s adoption of IRIS for Health is expected to significantly improve the patient experience and advance its ‘one patient, one record’ initiative.
