TrueBusiness, a provider of communications and digital solutions, has entered into a partnership with Intel to transform Thailand’s healthcare sector by introducing AI and 5G network-powered smart healthcare solutions.
The initiative aims to improve various aspects of the medical field, such as treatment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation, as well as patient data management in healthcare agencies and hospitals in the country.
Under this collaboration, TrueBusiness will integrate its 5G capabilities with Intel’s AI technologies, such as OpenVino for edge AI, to support the development of seven innovative healthcare solutions.
The smart healthcare solutions include telemedicine and tele ICU services, platforms for patient history and initial symptoms analysis, a platform to digitise pathology images using tissue slide scanning technology, AI-powered diagnostic tools for eye conditions, contactless patient care devices, elderly care monitoring, and AI platforms for medical image storage.
These solutions are being developed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Thailand’s public health system and establish the country as a medical hub in South-East Asia.
By leveraging 5G and edge analytics, powered by Intel Edge AI on Intel Core Ultra, Patient-Management-as-a-Service is expected to improve the coverage offered by medical providers through ongoing and secure monitoring.
