Addiction treatment and recovery services provider Bradford Health Services has announced the acquisition of behavioural health services provider Lakeview Health.

Financial terms and other details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

The move aims to expand Bradford’s reach and service offerings in response to the increasing demand for patient-centred treatment.

Lakeview Health, which is known for its specialised programmes, including treatment of gender-specific substance use disorder and eating disorder care, operates four distinct programmes, each specialising in different aspects of behavioural health.

These programmes include The Rose, The Star, Koru Spring, and Stepping Stones.

Lakeview Health’s acquisition by Bradford Health Services is now expected to bolster the latter’s network, reflecting a commitment to delivering tailored care for individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Lakeview’s programmes, the gender-specific Rose and Star campuses, the eating disorder-focused Koru Spring, and the in-network Stepping Stones programme will now fall under the Bradford Health umbrella.

This integration is projected to enhance the ability of the two entities to serve diverse patient populations, particularly across the Southeast region.

In addition, the merger creates synergies with a shared focus on patient care and outcomes.

Lakeview Health CEO Jamie Stevens said: “Joining Bradford Health allows us to utilise additional resources and expertise, enhancing our ability to provide specialised care to more patients. This partnership supports our shared commitment to quality treatment at all stages of recovery.”

Bradford Health Services was assisted by Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets, for its role as exclusive financial adviser to Lakeview Health during the transaction.

Bradford Health Services CEO Rob Marsh said: “The acquisition of Lakeview Health is a significant milestone in our growth strategy, allowing us to expand our services and provide a broader range of specialised care options to our patients.

“Lakeview’s programmes align perfectly with our vision of offering a full continuum of care that supports every stage of the recovery journey.”
