“My team is excited about this budding relationship, and our patients are already benefiting from the partnership.“

QuikMedic’s community paramedics and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) allow doctors to provide medical treatment and organised social support.

This aims to reduce unnecessary emergency room and hospital admissions while increasing patient involvement, health outcomes and the overall patient experience.

QuikMedic said its model has shown advantages such as reducing the total cost of care, improving access to healthcare and boosting patient satisfaction.

QuikMedic CEO Karim Kaissi said: “It’s a real privilege to partner with Raj and the MyCare team to extend their care model into the home in a seamless and integrated manner.

“Our QuikMedic team in Pinellas County has been recruited from the local community, and we’re very excited to grow and deepen this partnership with MyCare in Florida and beyond.“

As part of its efforts to deliver mobile healthcare solutions through long-term, high-value collaborations, QuikMedic intends to expand into four additional states over the next five months.

The company currently operates in 14 markets across Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah and West Virginia.

MyCare Medical is a healthcare delivery platform that provides care for more than 100,000 patients across Florida and Texas.

The company operates via multi-state branded wholly owned clinics, a management services organisation affiliate network model and a Concierge practice model.
