WellSky chairman and CEO Bill Miller said: “Innovative technology and connected networks from WellSky are already powering providers’ success, in both achieving quality outcomes and improving business performance.
“But we have even greater ambitions when it comes to harnessing the power of AI to help address the real and urgent problems clinicians and caregivers are facing today. While not intended to replace clinical judgment, SkySense functionality is here to help lighten the load for providers, giving them more time to spend with their patients.”
The company develops solutions that transform data into actionable insights, further extending its capabilities with the WellSky TeamEngage platform, which focuses on staff engagement.
Miller said: “SkySense functionality is just the beginning. Our team is working diligently every day to develop new applications using AI in a responsible and secure manner to help make healthcare safer, better, and more cost effective.”
The introduction of SkySense comes at a time when healthcare providers are facing cybersecurity threats, shrinking financial margins, and workforce shortages.
