Cleveland Clinic London has secured HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) Stage 7 accreditation, making it the first private hospital in the UK to achieve this recognition in digital healthcare.
This accreditation places Cleveland Clinic London among a group of eight hospitals in the UK that have reached Stage 7, the second highest level of the EMRAM framework.
Cleveland Clinic London president Rob Lorenz said: “This is a tremendous achievement for Cleveland Clinic London, and I could not be prouder of the team.
“This is a fantastic demonstration of what we can achieve for our patients when we demonstrate our values of teamwork and innovation.”
To attain EMRAM Stage 7 status, a hospital needs to showcase digitalisation and integration of its electronic medical record (EMR) systems into daily operations. This integration must lead to operational efficiency, and optimal use of data.
Cleveland Clinic London associate chief information officer Raihaan Mughal said: “Receiving this accreditation is testament to our team’s dedication and the vision we have for healthcare at Cleveland Clinic. It underscores our commitment to embracing innovation and setting new benchmarks in healthcare excellence to provide quality care to our patients.”
