The AZ Sint-Lucas Gent Hospital in Belgium has signed a ten-year contract with Sectra for its enterprise imaging solution.
This collaboration is set to enhance the productivity of radiologists by enabling them to conduct the diagnostic process within a single platform.
The integration of this technology is expected to reduce lead times for patients, quicken diagnostics, and enhance the quality of patient care.
Featuring an array of medical specialities, the hospital conducts approximately 300,000 exams a year.
With the adoption of Sectra’s solution, AZ Sint-Lucas Gent aims to streamline its imaging needs and reduce operational costs.
AZ Sint-Lucas Gent medical imaging department head Dr Nele De Ruyter said: “By choosing Sectra, we’re investing in a solution that will enhance our radiologists’ efficiency. The built-in reporting eliminates the need to switch between multiple applications.
