Locke Bio has announced a partnership with lab-testing provider imaware to incorporate diagnostic testing into its telehealth platform, marking an advancement in remote healthcare.

This collaboration will enable telehealth providers to provide lab-validated treatments without the need for in-person doctor visits.

Locke Bio’s enterprise clients across all 50 states can now enhance their healthcare offerings with added lab testing services.

This integration facilitates quicker diagnosis and more accurate treatment plans.

Locke Bio’s existing telehealth infrastructure includes remote consultations, secure processing of payments and prescription fulfilment.

Earlier in the year, Locke Bio introduced Locke Bio Pay, a payment solution tailored for telehealth and built in partnership with LegitScript.

The solution, which supports compliance certification, ensures secure transactions for prescription sales through major credit card companies.

The addition of imaware’s lab testing services also enables patients to conduct essential health assessments from home.

Locke Bio founder and CEO Cathy Tie said: “By adding imaware’s lab testing, we’re not just enhancing telehealth—we’re redefining what’s possible in digital medicine. Patients can now receive a full spectrum of care remotely, including diagnostic insights that previously required in-person visits.”

Lab testing is a critical component for many prescription treatments.

imaware’s nationwide network of CLIA/CAP-certified labs now allows Locke Bio’s telehealth providers to offer diagnostic accuracy comparable to that of conventional clinics.

The advantages of this integration include the ability for patients to complete testing from home within five minutes, fast lab-validated results for providers, and the elimination of scheduling conflicts and lost workdays for patients.

Additionally, built-in compliance features ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

imaware CEO Brodie Flanders said: “This partnership removes friction from the diagnostic process, allowing patients and providers to focus on better health outcomes.”

The partnership also contributes to a broader movement to transition complex healthcare services to online platforms.

Telehealth providers using Locke Bio can now deliver a comprehensive digital care experience.
