US-based health monitoring and clinical intelligence company BioIntelliSense has collaborated with Renown Health to offer continuous medical grade patient monitoring from in-hospital to home.
Renown Health is a not-for-profit healthcare company that has a network of hospitals and care facilities, serving more than one million people in Nevada and northeast California.
The partnership will see the integration of BioIntelliSense’s BioSticker wearable device with Renown Health’s clinical remote monitoring services, to enhance patient-centred model of care, while addressing the shortage of healthcare workforce.
BioSticker has been designed to monitor patient temperature, resting heart rate, sleep, activity levels, and respiratory rate. It also has the capability to monitor infection-like symptom alerts that supports monitoring of Covid-19.
Patient data will be monitored by Renown doctors, nurses, technicians as well as by BioIntelliSense officials at the Renown Transfer and Operations Center (RTOC).
With this constant monitoring technology, Renown will be able to access real-time information about the patients’ health and customise health care as per their requirement.
