Citizens Medical Center, a 334-bed acute care hospital located in Victoria, Texas, has selected M*Modal, a healthcare technology provider of advanced clinical documentation solutions, as an exclusive provider of transcription services.
With this agreement, M*Modal will enhance clinical documentation and boost productivity with speech recognition technology and transcription services at Citizens Medical Center.
According to the company, with M*Modal Fluency Direct physicians can quickly and easily create and edit clinical data directly within EHR system templates, promoting improved adoption.
M*Modal Fluency Direct is designed from the ground up to specifically recognise healthcare terminology, and leverages cloud computing to let physicians and healthcare providers access trained voice profiles and clinical information across any application.
Citizens Medical Center HIM Direct Kimberly Rollins said that the hospital was loooking for a clinical documentation platform with the tools to create accurate, high-quality patient records.
"M*Modal’s transcription services and front-end speech technology give our physicians and staff flexible workflow options that allow them to stay productive and focus on their patients," Rollins added.
