Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is set to open its $300m Jane and John Justin Tower on 2 April this year.
The nine-story tower, which adds 400,000ft2 space to the hospital, includes new pre- and postoperative suites services, 15 surgery suites and 144 beds.
The opening will increase surgical capacity by approximately 30%.
According to a Texas Health Resources statement, the tower features dedicated neurosurgery and orthopaedics operating suites.
The new surgical suites are double the size of current operating rooms (ORs) to fit modern imaging and robotic technology.
The ORs are also designed to accommodate larger equipment in future.
