June 2022 has seen a decrease of 8.08% in the overall hiring activity when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 2.45% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in June 2022, registering a decrease of 0.04% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 53.33% in June 2022, a flat growth over the previous month. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations came in next, claiming a share of 16.67% in June 2022, marking a 41.18% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 15% in June 2022, a 40% drop from May 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 8.77% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 20 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a decline of 39.39% over the previous month, followed by CompuGroup Medical SEKGaA with 15 jobs and a 7.14% growth. CitiusTech with 11 IT jobs and Ryman Healthcare with 3 jobs, recorded an 83.33% rise and a 25% drop, respectively, while Queensland Children’s Hospital recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s healthcare industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s healthcare industry IT hiring activity with a 48.33% share in June 2022, a 16% increase over May 2022. Australia featured next with a 40% share, down 42.86% over the previous month. New Zealand recorded a 3.33% share, a drop of 33.33% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55%, down by 40% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.33% share, registered a growth of 53.85% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10% share, down 14.29% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.67%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
