| About us

We’re different

Our background is in the NHS, so we have particular expertise in running healthcare related events. We also work for other organisations in the public sector and beyond.

Unlike most event management companies, we are a not-for profit organisation.

We have been organising conferences, events, meetings and network events since 2005. We look after more than 7500 delegates every year.

Whether you plan a small event or a major conference, our team can handle it. We can take the strain of planning, logistics and on-the-day support.

PCC shares the values of the public sector and provides services that reflect the need to make responsible use of public money. As well as NHS organisations, we have run major events for police forces, local government, the fire and rescue service and more.

We can help with any aspect of event planning right through to the full end-to-end event management.

British and Irish Orthoptic Society (BIOS)

The British and Irish Orthoptic Society (BIOS) were connected to PCC to discuss running a face to face event to celebrate our non registered workforce. This was just as we went into the first COVID -19 lockdown and so discussions quickly moved to transferring this to an online event when it was clear face to face meetings were not going to be possible for some time to come.

At every stage of the process from early scoping, proposal options, online platform and AV requirements, speaker liaison and delivery of the live event PCC were professional, attentive and very organised. The PCC team facilitated the smooth running of our online event and provided ongoing post event support by way of evaluation, certificates and access to the event recordings.

Our event has received excellent feedback from attendees so we would not hesitate to approach PCC to organise another event for BIOS and would highly recommend PCC to deliver online training or events.

Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC)

PCC Events delivered a series of regional stakeholder events for the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

We received excellent feedback from the client for this project scoring 93.75/100 on the Crown Commercial Service customer satisfaction survey. Asked whether she would recommend us, the client said:

"Without hesitation. I find it exceptionally hard to delegate and initially was opposed to appointing an external company to manage the events. I was wrong. You made it very easy for me and this meant that I could concentrate on other things secure in the knowledge that the events would run like clockwork.

"I particularly liked the fact that you understood and responded to the brief. You understood that we wanted to run events that were professional but were delivered with budget in mind.

"You listened and understood our requirements and respond appropriately. You were flexible, adaptable and able to respond quickly. You were always available on the end of the phone and were always able to offer constructive and helpful assistance.

"I found working with you to be very positive and very rewarding. The events team were exceptional and were a pleasure to work with."

“Mark Dyson and his team provided assistance throughout the planning, development and onsite stages and always represented your organisation to the highest standard. The team are a pleasure to work with and deal with all aspects of their work in a professional way and always with a smile.

“We have already booked them for our next event in March and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.”
