Asia-Pacific was the fastest growing region for cybersecurity hiring among healthcare industry companies in the three months ending September.
The number of roles in Asia-Pacific made up 0.5 per cent of total cybersecurity jobs – up from 0.1 per cent in the same quarter last year.
That was followed by Middle East & Africa, which saw a 0.1 year-on-year percentage point change in cybersecurity roles.
The figures are compiled by GlobalData, who track the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically.

The fastest growing country was the Philippines, which saw zero per cent of all cybersecurity job adverts in the three months ending June last year, increasing to 0.2 per cent in the three months ending September this year.
That was followed by the United Kingdom (up 0.1 percentage points), Germany (up zero), and the United States (up -0.900000000000006).
The top country for cybersecurity roles in the healthcare industry is the United States which saw 98 per cent of all roles in the three months ending September.
Which cities are the biggest hubs for cybersecurity workers in the healthcare industry?
Some three per cent of all healthcare industry cybersecurity roles were advertised in Lenexa (United States) in the three months ending September - more than any other city.
That was followed by Miramar (United States) with three per cent, Washington (United States) with 2.2 per cent, and San Juan Capistrano (United States) with 2.1 per cent.
