Europe was the fastest growing region for cloud hiring among healthcare industry companies in the three months ending July.
The number of roles in Europe made up 10.7% of total cloud jobs – up from 3.2% in the same quarter last year.
That was followed by Asia-Pacific, which saw a 0.1 year-on-year percentage point change in cloud roles.
The figures are compiled by GlobalData, who track the number of new job postings from key companies in various sectors over time. Using textual analysis, these job advertisements are then classified thematically.

Which countries are seeing the most growth for cloud job ads in the healthcare industry?
The fastest growing country was Germany, which saw 2.7% of all cloud job adverts in the three months ending July 2021, increasing to 6% in the three months ending July this year.
That was followed by Romania (up 2.7 percentage points), Australia (1.4), and Switzerland (1.3).
The top country for cloud roles in the healthcare industry is the United States which saw 74.3% of all roles advertised in the three months ending July.
Which cities and locations are the biggest hubs for cloud workers in the healthcare industry?
Some 14.1% of all healthcare industry cloud roles were advertised in Dublin (United States) in the three months ending July.
That was followed by Seattle (United States) with 11.6%, Kansas City (United States) with 9.6%, and Frisco (United States) with 3.6%.
