The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 45.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s healthcare industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Apria Healthcare Group posted 216 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by CVS Health with 151 jobs and a 12.72% drop. Laboratoryof America Holdings with 63 IT jobs and Intermountain Healthcare with 60 jobs, recorded a 16% decline and a 91.24% decrease, respectively, while UPMC Health System recorded an increase of 16.67% with 35 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.01%, down by 27.27% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.54% share, registered a decline of 31.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 16.27% share, down 53.99% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.18%, recording a month-on-month decline of 40%.
