AI-powered healthcare start-up Ambience Healthcare has secured $70m in its Series B investment round in the US.
The fundraiser was jointly led by American venture capital company Kleiner Perkins and OpenAI Startup Fund.
It also saw the participation of current investors Andreessen Horowitz and Optum Ventures.
Ambience Healthcare’s AI operating system offers an ecosystem of applications designed to improve efficiency and care quality within hospitals and healthcare organisations.
By utilising a single shared brain, the system addresses structural inefficiencies in vital organisational initiatives such as prior authorisation, utilisation management, and clinical trial matching.
With the latest investment, Ambience Healthcare aims to accelerate its product roadmap, build dedicated teams for its existing and future health system partners, as well as advance AI foundation models for medicine.
