Medical Facilities has announced that an expansion project is underway at Arkansas Surgical Hospital (ASH) in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Slated to be completed by the end of the year, the 4,590ft2 expansion project will see addition of two new operating rooms and three recovery beds in its post-anaesthesia care unit.
Arkansas Surgical Hospital CEO Brian Fowler said: “The additional space is required for five new surgeons who joined the Hospital last year.
“This expansion will ultimately allow more patients to access specialty care in our five-star hospital that prides itself on efficient, high quality service in a hotel-like setting.”
The hospital specialised in surgeries, such as orthopaedic, spine, breast oncology and reconstructive surgeries.
It also offers pain management, diagnostic imaging procedures, along with computerised tomography (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and myelography.
