Aster DM Healthcare, an integrated healthcare provider in India, has finalised an agreement to acquire the remaining stake in Aster Aadhar Hospital, also known as Prerana Hospital, in Kolhapur, in the state of Maharashtra.

This move will increase Aster DM Healthcare’s stake from 87% to 100%.

The acquisition process is structured in two phases, with an expected completion date of 31 December 2025.

The full acquisition of the 254-bedded Aster Aadhar Hospital, which is the first in the region to receive the NABH Accreditation, signifies a step in Aster DM Healthcare’s expansion and diversification efforts.

Aster Aadhar Hospital stands as Kolhapur’s comprehensive multi-speciality facility and offers over 25 specialities, a panel of doctors, and support staff.

Aster DM Healthcare aims to cater to the growing demand for advanced healthcare services in India.
