
AvaSure has acquired Nurse Disrupted, a virtual nursing platform aimed at improving care delivery in both hospital and home-based environments.
This move underscores AvaSure’s focus on innovation led by clinical insights and represents the second acquisition of the company within nine months.

The platform offered by Nurse Disrupted is noted for its quick deployment features, which allow healthcare companies to swiftly incorporate virtual nursing solutions.
This leads to measurable returns on investment (ROI) through enhanced efficiency along with cost reduction, particularly in acute care settings.
Nurse Disrupted founder Bre Loughlin will assume the role of executive director of Virtual Care Innovation while becoming part of the AvaSure team.
Her experience in virtual nursing is expected to expand AvaSure’s virtual care capabilities, optimising workflows, supporting caregivers and enhancing safety.
Loughlin said: “Both platforms are built with caregivers in mind, ensuring that virtual nursing is not just a technology solution but a true extension of clinical care. Together, we can bring even more impactful solutions to hospitals.”
In a collaborative effort, Tufts Medical Center will work with AvaSure to incorporate Nurse Disrupted into AvaSure’s existing platform for a clinically driven solution.
In July 2024, AvaSure acquired Ouvas’s smart room solutions, further enhancing its portfolio with AI-driven technologies designed for virtual care in hospital settings.
