By GlobalDataApart from expanding the hospital’s capacity, the project also aims at enhancing its ability to meet growing patient demands and targeting health tourism.
Bandar Dato’ Onn Specialist Hospital has issued a letter of acceptance to engage construction company Tg. Langsat Development (TLDSB), which is a 100% owned subsidiary of TPM Technopark, for the project. TPM Technopark is an indirect subsidiary of Johor.
Tg. Langsat Development was selected for offering the most cost-effective proposal that aligns with industry standards and meets the tender requirements, KPJ Healthcare noted.
The renovation work is expected to be completed within five months, by 10 November 2024.
KPJ Healthcare said that the completion of this renovation is contingent upon TLDSB’s ability to meet the agreed timeline.
The latest expansion work is being undertaken as part of KPJ Healthcare’s strategy to enhance the customer experience by increasing the number of single bedded wards and to capitalise on health tourism opportunities.
The project also aims to extend the hospital’s reach into new geographical markets.
