Blazesoft Group, a North American social gaming platform provider, has announced a $250,000 contribution to the Mackenzie Health Foundation.

This philanthropic gesture is earmarked to bolster the Woman and Child Program at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, enhancing care for newborns and their mothers.

The donation by Blazesoft will facilitate the purchase of new equipment and technology, as well as support programmes essential for the healthcare workers at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital to deliver optimal care.

This includes the naming of an inpatient room within the Woman and Child Program and a dedicated newborn room within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The NICU at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital is renowned for providing expert, round-the-clock care for newborns who require additional monitoring, treatment, and care, particularly those who are very small or premature.

The rooms in the NICU have negative air pressure systems to prevent the spread of infections by ensuring no airborne particles leave the room.
