BradenHealth has acquired the Perry County Community Hospital, which has been closed for several years, depriving residents of Perry County, Tennessee, of essential medical services.

Completed on 25 December 2024, the acquisition marks the beginning of a significant transformation aimed at reopening the hospital and addressing the healthcare crisis in rural communities.

The company has emphasised its collaborative efforts with both state and local leaders to ensure the project meets the healthcare needs of the community, as reported by WBBJ.

BradenHealth co-founder and chief compliance officer Kyle Kopec said: “I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Senator Ed Jackson and Representative Haston for monitoring this situation and working tirelessly to ensure this hospital’s reopening. Their dedication has been instrumental, and we are proud to work alongside them to make this vision a reality.”

Tennessee State Senator Ed Jackson said: “Access to quality healthcare is essential for every Tennessean, no matter where they live. Perry County Community Hospital’s reopening is a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication to meeting the needs of our rural communities.”

The overhaul of the hospital is set to commence immediately, with plans to rebuild the mold-infested facility.
