CareClinics, a network of more than 100 primary care clinics in Malaysia, has entered a partnership with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), marking a significant move for healthcare digitisation.
This collaboration aims to accelerate the digital transformation efforts of CareClinics, which was founded in 2003.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to formalise this move was also signed between CareClinics and HIMSS, Healthcare IT News reported.
The MoU outlines a strategy to develop a digital health ecosystem centred on patient care.
This initiative aligns with the Malaysian Ministry of Health’s drive for healthcare system reforms through digital innovation.
As per the terms of the MoU, HIMSS will provide its digital capacity and maturity frameworks to help CareClinics in developing a digital health ecosystem.
