Integrated virtual care solutions provider CareView Communications has entered a business agreement with Alaska Native Medical Center, aiming to enhance patient safety through advanced virtual care solutions.
Alaska Native Medical Center provides medical services to Alaska Natives and American Indians, including a 182-bed hospital and a medical speciality suite.
The services encompass speciality, primary, acute, and behavioural health care.
CareView Communications chief operations officer Sandra McRee said: “This business agreement not only expands our impact on patient safety but further expands our presence in the Pacific Northwest, an area where we have seen growth over the past two years.
“Our commitment to onsite customer service while continuing to use artificial intelligence to advance our solutions has created interest in our products on a national level. We are excited to partner with Alaska Native Medical Center.”
CareView’s Patient Safety System utilises AI and patented predictive technology to optimise virtual sitting outcomes.
The system’s Virtual Bed Rails and Virtual Chair Rails enable the continuous monitoring of multiple patients from a centralised location, which lessens patient falls and sitter costs.
This collaboration is further strengthened by Alaska Native Medical Center’s existing group purchasing organisation (GPO) contract with Vizient, with whom CareView regularly collaborates.
This alignment is anticipated to bring additional synergies to the new business agreement.
CareView has established collaborations with more than 200 hospitals across the US.
In December 2024, CareView Communications established a business agreement with Confluence Health.
This collaboration was aimed at using CareView’s Patient Safety System to enhance safety through the use of AI and predictive technology.
