Constitution Billing and Financial Services (CBFS) has signed a commercial agreement to deploy Milagro’s AI-driven coding solution at surgical centres.

CBFS is a subsidiary of the Constitution Surgery Alliance (CSA).

According to the agreement, the coding solution will be implemented across CSA’s network of partnered and managed ambulatory surgical centres.

This collaboration is set to revolutionise CBFS’s revenue cycle management.

The deployment is aimed at enhancing accuracy and efficiency in surgical procedure coding.

The integration of Milagro’s platform with the Surgical Information Systems EHR is a strategic move to streamline coding operations and reduce the administrative burden.

CBFS Revenue Cycle senior vice-president Sayword Hill said: “We are excited to formalise this partnership with Milagro to bring their advanced autonomous coding technology to our network.

“Milagro’s platform will be instrumental in reducing manual coding processes, optimising business operations, and ensuring faster and accurate reimbursements for the surgical centres within our partnership network.”

This collaboration between CBFS and Milagro highlights CSA’s continued focus on embracing solutions that enhance patient care, as well as the financial outcomes of its affiliated surgical centres.

Milagro CEO and co-founder Amit May-Dan said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Constitution Surgery Alliance and CBFS to deliver the benefits of our autonomous coding platform.

“Our autonomous coding platform is designed to transform the healthcare revenue cycle, and we look forward to helping CSA optimise operations across its network.”

CSA has established 26 surgery centres, including 15 joint ventures with hospitals over the last 25 years, and has collaborated with over 500 surgeons.
