US-based children’s hospital Children’s National Hospital has begun working with IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl to enhance the technology experience for its workers.
The hospital aims to streamline its IT operations by using Kyndryl’s tools, including artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps).
Kyndryl will also equip the hospital with automation functionalities to predict and prevent problems in network and security operations.
The partnership aims to ensure seamless operations across the hospital’s main facility and 32 specialty care and primary care offices by reducing friction at technical touchpoints.
In addition, Kyndryl will modernise and manage daily tools such as Microsoft 365.
It will establish a dedicated IT desk for quick support and work with the hospital to streamline its technology stack by removing redundant applications and technical debt.

In August this year, the company partnered with Care New England, a non-profit healthcare system in Rhode Island, in an effort to enhance patient care.
The partnership involved consolidating multiple electronic medical record (EMR) systems into one end-to-end system with EMR provider Epic.
It was intended to transform data management, drive service expansion and improve accessibility to care.
